LEGOLAND Theme Park
Winter Haven is the home of Florida LEGOLAND Theme Park. LEGOLAND Theme Parks are all around the world. In the USA, there are 3 locations in California, Florida and the latest one in New York. Florida LEGOLAND is the world’s second-biggest LEGOLAND Park. There are three parks in Florida – LEGOLAND Theme Park, Water Park and the newest one Peppa Pig Theme Park.
Tickets and Where to Stay
If you are Floridians living in Central Florida, the annual pass is ideal. Your family can visit multiple times throughout the year. Depending on your availability, tickets are available for one day, two-day and three-day. The best way to experience the entire LEGOLAND Theme Park is by buying a vacation package including tickets and LEGOLAND HOTEL. It will not disappoint you and your kids.
There are two hotels in LEGOLAND Florida – LEGOLAND Hotel and Pirate Island Hotel. The hotel building is right by LEGOLAND Theme Park’s entrance and you can walk to the Park if you stay there. As a hotel guest, you can enter the park 30 minutes earlier than the regular open hour. That is one of the benefits that you don’t have to drive. LEGOLAND Hotel and Pirate Island Hotel is a one-of-a-kind hotel just perfect for kids. I would recommend staying in the Hotel for a memorable experience that your kids will remember for a long time and talk about it for years. When you make a reservation, you can choose themed rooms such as Ninja, Kingdom, Pirate, Friends and LEGO Movie. The standard family package is budget-friendly. If you can afford it, All-Inclusive package is a better choice which includes food and other amenities
If you are a planner and you always plan things ahead, there is Book Early & Save Package for the early planners. You could get one night free!
LEGOLAND Beach Retreat offers village-style environments with 82 beach-themed bungalows. It is conveniently located adjacent to LEGOLAND Theme parks. As guests, shuttle transportation and free parking at LEGOLAND parks are included with your stay.
If your budget is a little tight for LEGOLAND Hotels, don’t worry. There are plenty of hotels nearby that would work in your budget. Some hotels offer a shuttle bus to LEGOLAND. Regardless of where you stay, your kids will have a blast in the Parks.

LEGOLAND Theme Park
The LEGOLAND Theme Park has divided into multiple different sections and the park has multiple rides, shows, attractions, shops and restaurants. Let me name a few. In Duplo®Valley , little toddlers can play at the water splash area, enjoy soft-play activities, ride trains and more. In Mini-Land USA, thousands and thousands or millions of LEGOS are used to build miniature cities like Hollywood, Tampa, New York, Las Vegas, DC and more. It is magnificent LEGO art. In LEGO Kingdoms, your kids will enjoy The Dragon roller coaster, climb up and swing around on ropes and ladders. In Fun Town, kids can giddy up on horses on a double-decker carousel. The top floor fills up first and every kid wants to go to the top floor. Did you know there is a Cypress Garden inside the Park? The garden was the former site of the current LEGOLAND and LEGOLAND preserved the garden.
LEGOLAND Water Park
LEGOLAND Water Park is inside the LEGOLAND Theme Park. Actually, it is in the back of the LEGOLAND. In order to go to Water Park, you walk through the LEGOLAND park.
LEGOLAND Water Park doesn’t open all year round. It operates between March and October. You will have to check their website to find out the exact opening date and closing date each year. It opens every day during the hot summer season. Please check their open hours during September and October.
The water park is pretty crowded around 1 and 3 pm during its peak hours. This is the perfect place for kids and adults during hot summer. My favorite attraction is Build-a-Raft Lazy River. You don’t have to build anything during the ride. You can float and relax on a 1000-foot-long lazy river. It is a very slow current and the water isn’t deep. If you have toddlers, parents have to supervise little ones. The floating tube has LEGO things to build upon them and you will find floating LEGO bricks floating on the water. Kids love to do that. Parents can relax on the floating tube.
Another unique attraction is a huge LEGO Wave Pool. It has from shallow to deep water. You can catch waves and everybody can enjoy in the Wave Pool.
Peppa Pig Theme Park
Peppa Pig Theme Park opened in 2022. It is the first non-LEGO-related theme park in LEGOLAND. This park is perfect for little toddlers. You and your little ones can ride all together as a family. There is a water splash play area with spouting fountains and slides, so don’t forget to bring swimsuits and towels for your kids.
What could be better than relaxing and watching the live shows at Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena?. After the show, you get to take photos with Peppa and George.
A theme park without a roller coaster isn’t a theme park. Peppa Pig Theme Park has the perfect roller coaster for little ones to ride. Daddy pig is the captain of the roller coaster.
Peppa Pig Theme Park is small. If you buy bundled 2-day tickets, you could visit Peppa Pig Theme Park in the morning and then you can walk over to LEGOLAND Theme Park later on the same day.
LEGOLAND isn’t the only attraction in Winer Haven. There are other local attractions you might want to experience.
Bok Tower Gardens
The Bok Tower Gardens are situated south of Winter Haven in Lake Wales. This Bok Tower Gardens are famous for 205-foot Singing Tower and the beauty of nature. The gardens feature acres of palms, ferns, oaks, pines and wetland plants. The name Bok comes from Edward W Bok who first created 25 acres of a bird sanctuary to protect the land and beauty of nature from being developed. The current garden is 10 times larger than the original size. Throughout the year, there is a number of events in the Gardens, especially concerts featuring jazz and orchestral music and the playing of the carillon bells. Plan on visiting the Gardens during special events. The most popular events are semi-annual evening symphony concerts one in the fall and one in the spring
